She was born in Cullman, Ala., and lived in Anderson since 1926. She retired from Fisher Guide Division in 1956 after 11 years of employment. She attended the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Alabama and was a member of the Markleville Order of Eastern Star Chapter 363, UAW Local 663 and the Killbuck Retirees.
She is survived by two sons, Roy V. Martin and James C. Martin, both of Anderson; one step-son, Ernest J. DeFord of Anderson; five stepdaughters, Margaret M. Dukes of Anderson, Mrs. Daniel (Irene) Rinker of Buckeye, Ariz., Mrs. Joseph (Annabelle) Ashcraft of Wilmington Park, Calif., Agnes L. Ramsey of Anderson and Mrs. David (Violet) Mathews of Anderson; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.
