— J. N. B e c k, 80, died a t 9:30 t h i s morning a t the S t . Anthony hospital in Carroll. Retiring from his farm north of Glidden in 1944, he had been bedfast at his home here for the past year, and had been taken to the hospital last Saturday afternoon.

Funeral services are to be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his old home on the farm. Burial will be beside his wife in Westlawh cemetery.

The body is at the Huffman Funeral home in Carroll at present.

Mr. B e ck leaves one sister Mrs. Mary Herrold of Perry, and a number of nieces and nephews.

His wife died in 1933.
