ROLAND — Daryl Wayne Elkins, 36, of Roland died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, in Muskogee, Okla. He was born Nov. 17, 1967, in Fort Smith. He was a ranch hand and was of the Church of Christ faith. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roland City Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Kasey Elkins of Fort Smith; a son, Cody Elkins of Fort Smith; his father and stepmother, Carl and Nina Elkins of Roland; mother and stepfather, Jan and Cecil Hester of Skiatook, Okla.; grandparents, Delores and Amos Boyster of Fort Smith; step-grandparents, J.D. Williams of Roland and Cecil and Nadine Hester of Nowata, Okla.; two sisters, Carla Elkins of Carrollton, Texas, and Tammy Davis of Roland; two stepsisters, Angie Hester of Collinville, Okla., and Jennie Hester of Romana, Okla.; two brothers, Terry Elkins of Van Buren and Gary Elkins of Fort Smith; and four stepbrothers, Richard Jackson of Fort Smith, Scott Hester of Wagoner, Okla., Keith Hester of Muskogee and Cecil Hester Jr. of Broken Arrow, Okla. Pallbearers will be Keith and Scott Hester, Tim and Tony Elkins, Bill Wooden and John Mangham. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
