Edward Adams

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Edward Joseph Adams, 92, a native of Lockport and resident of Cut Off, who died April 23, 1997.

Visitation will be 9:15 a.m. to funeral time Friday at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was the father of Edward, Norman and Milton Adams and Vivian Prejean; brother of Enola Guidry; half-brother of Sterling Adams. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florida Danos Adams; second wife, Edia Neil Adams; parents, Joseph and Leontine Bayeux Adams; five brothers, Abel, Louis, Wilson, Ignace and Ecton Adams; two half-brothers, Albert and Joseph
Adams; two sisters, Agnes Thomassie and Edna Duet; and a half-sister, Gertrude
Adams.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
