Charles P. Elliott, 74, of 841 S. Park died this morning at the Independence hospital. He was a retired member of the Independence street department a member of the Blue Springs Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Marie Mull, 841 S. Park, Mrs. Thelma Niedruffe, Denver Colo; Mrs. Delia Thompson, 3332 Vermont; Mrs. Lorene Binger, 11709 E. 30th St; five sons, Guy Elliott, 11324 S. 32nd St; Harry Elliott, 502 E. Fair, Charles P. Elliott, Jefferson City, Mo, Dennis Elliott 1814 S. Vermont; Donald Elliott of the home; two brothers, Walter Elliott and Claude Elliott of Grain Valley, 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Grain Valley Methodist church. Burial will be in Harrington cemetery, Grain Valley. Friends may call at the Carson chapel from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday.
