Eva Loraine "Rainey" Black, 88, formerly of Robertsdale, died Friday, May 15, 1998, at Cardington Park, Ohio.

Born April 30, 1910, in Dudley, she was a daughter of the late John and Amy Ida (Reed) Wheeling and had lived in Broad Top and Robertsdale most of her life. She was married to Robert Black who preceded her in death.

Her only survivors include one nephew: John Thomas, Eastlake, Ohio; two great-nephews, Jeffrey Thomas and Daryl Thomas and one great-niece, Tammy Frazier. She was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Hill.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Black worked at a shoe factory in Martinsburg.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Dudley Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, Ohio, 44120.
