OBITUARY: Louis F. Meador, 82, Independence, was found dead Monday, Dec. 31, 1990, in Springfield, Mo.
Mr. Meador was a lifelong area resident. He was a carpenter for the Glenn O'Brien Movable Partion Co., retiring in 1973. Earlier he worked for the Jack Keller Construction Co. and Latimer Motors. He was a member of Local 1329 of the Carpenters Union. He attended the Pleasant Grove Bible Church.
His survivors include his wife, Maxine Meador, of the home; a son, Leonard Meador, Independence; two daughters, Dixie Davin, Kansas City, and Ann Burns, Peculiar, MO.; three brothers, Glenn Meador, Kansas City; Henry Meador and Victor Paul Meador, both of Independence; four sisters, Mary Louise Cook, Polson Mont., Viola Bever, Bates City, Mo., Margaret Bucher, Independence, and Ruth Peterman, Grandview; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Speaks Suburan Chapel; burial in the Grain Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
