Darold Murray Cummings was born at Bancroft February 19, 1922 and left his earthly home to be with the Friend of little children on the evening of January 15, 1928 at the age of five years, ten months, and 27 days.

Darold was a twin to Gerald and was the second of the children born in this family.

Darold was taken sick the latter part of November and after he had received all medical care and nursing possible at home it was decided to take him to the hospital at Madison, hoping for his recovery. But our Heavenly Father thought it best to take him to his eternal home, where there is no pain or sickness, sorrow or death.

Darold attended the Bancroft school and was in the first grade. He will be missed by his little school mates, his play mates and his loved ones.

Darold is survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs Frank Cummings, one sister, Dorothy, and three brothers, Gerald, Frankie and Robert, and grandparents, Mr and Mrs Frank Murray.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, January 18 at 1:30 at the home and at 2 at the Baptist Church in Bancroft. Rev C.A. Jones spoke comforting words to the sorrowing ones. The choir sang "In The Sweet By and By" "Precious Jewels" and Beautiful Beckoning Hands"

He was laid at rest in the Pine Grove Cemetery by Arthur Gibson, Robert McIntee, Jr., Lodean Meddaugh, Raymond Rice, Dale Foss, and Winston Judd.

Those who attended the funeral from away were James Murray of Omro, Mr and Mrs J.R. Prise of Waupaca, Mr and Mrs Will Murray and Mr and Mrs Arthur Murray of Nekoosa and Mrs Winne Manke of Kenosha.
