WARFIELDSBURG.
David C. Baile, a life-long resident of this vicinity, died at his home on Friday afternoon of last week after an lllness of about three months of typhoid fever and heart trouble, aged 76 years, 10 months and 19 days. The deceased was a prominent member of the Pipe Creek M. P. for about 55 years, holding the office as steward of the church for many years, and also was superintendent of the Sunday school for about 15 years. He Is survlved by a widow, 2 daughters, Mrs. I. N. Stoner, of Medford, and Mrs. Clara Lindsay, of near Dennings, and one son, John Baile. His funeral took place on Sunday afternoon at Pipe Creek M. P. Church and was largey attended. Rev. Hill, his pastor, conducted the service and spoke of the beautiful life and character of the deceased. His 4 grandsons and two cousins acted as pallbearers: Sterling Baile, David Baile, Herbert Lindsay, B. Lindsay, Walter Getty and John S. Baile. The honorary pallbearers were Wm. H. Royer, John Keefer, Abner Carlisle, Dr. George H. Brown, H. M. Koontz and James Lambert. H. Bankert funeral director.

Death visited our community on Friday last and took as its victim our highly esteemed friend and neighbor. David C. Baile, after an illness of about 6 months. He lived In this county nearly all his life and had been connected with the work of God for 55 years. In politics he was a Republican. His remains were laid to rest at the Brick M. P. Church on Sunday last and It was among the largest assemblages of people which gathered on such an occasion for years. Rev. G. J. Hill, of Uniontown, performed the burial rites, His text was as follows; “Oh death, where is thy Sting: Oh Grave, Where is thy Victory!” The pallbearers were his grandchildren and nephews. The family wish to extend their thanks to the friends and neighbors who lent their kindly aid during the recent illness and death of the deceased.
