Albert Ambrey, a retired maintenance worker and a lifelong Stony Point resident, died Sunday, Feb, 6, 1994, at Nyack Hospital. He was 73. Mr Ambrey worked for the State of New York at Letchworth Village in Thiells, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Laborers Union Local 754. He was born June 1, 1920, to William and Bertha Bulson Ambrey, in Stony Point, where he was raised and educated. On March 18. 1951, he married Mary Storms in Highland Falls, N.Y. Mr Ambrey was a communicant of United Methodist Church in Stony Point. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Susan Mclntyre of Garnerville; a brother, Clarence Ambrey of Stony Point; a sister, Edna Bruntfield of Stony Point, a granddaughter, Jeannine Mclntyre: and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Robert Ambrey, died before him.
