Robert Mason Conner was born in Stratton, Nebraska. August 10 1877 and died in South Gate, Calif. January 7 1948. He was married to Eleanor Amos, Aug.10 1898. Six children were born to this union. Surviving are 1 son J. F. Conner, Evansville, Ind. three Daughters Mrs Laura Banta, Oberlin, Kansas. Mrs Goldie Harding, Wichita, Kansas. Mrs Vera Ross. Eveleth, Minn. Mrs Eleanor Conner Died in 1911. He was married to Mrs Nellie Torkelson, 9-15-1937. She survives him. Surviving also are Mrs Mildred Urbom of Ft Collins Colo. A step Daughter, One sister, Lulu Burks, Stratton Neb. Five Brothers, Haze E, Conner of Project City, Calif. John, Roy & Charles of Long Beach, Calif. & Paul of Los Angeles,Calif.
Mr. Conner was a member of the A.F.& A M. Lodge No 383 at McDonald, Kansas.
He engaged in extensive Farming and livestock raising for a period of 45 years. moving to Calif. in 1946. He was buried at Sunnyside Mausoleum, Long Beach, Calif., Jan.12-1948. His age was 70 years 4 months and 27 days.
