EVERETT LEE GRISWOLD
ARCOLA — Everett Lee Griswold, 80, of Decatur, formerly of Arcola, died at 12:20 a.m. today in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
His body is at Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola. Arrangements are incomplete.
Mrs. Griswold was born Sept. 25, 1896, in Wayne County, a son of George Thomas and Maggie Griffin Griswold. He was married to Edna Bickel Miller on Feb. 28, 1952, in Champaign. She died Dec. 24, 1974.
A trucker for 36 years, Mr. Griswold later worked at the General Electric Co. plant in DeKalb where he retired. He was a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by three stepsons, Don Miller of Arcola, Richard Miller of Mt. Zion and Ray Miller of Glendale, Ariz.; and a son, Earl Griswold of Grayville.
He was preceded in death by a son and daughter.
