Thomas was my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather. His parents were John Lewis (1715 – 1765) and Mary Champion (1718 – 1777). He married Deborah Bonner in 1770 in Carteret County, NC. She was born in 1750 and died in 1810. His family were fishermen and fished the outerbanks of North Carolina their whole lives. Their children were: Thomas (b. 26 March 1772, d. 1825); Esther (b. 1772 in Chowan County, and married George Willis); Daniel (b. 1772, d. 1884,married Mary Davis in 1800); Uriah (b. 1774, d. 1850, married Elizabeth Clarissa Davis on 21 Apr 1809); Mary (b. 1774, married James Wade on 19 Mar 1804); Archibald (b. 1780, d. 1820 who married Rhoda Styron 8/23/1799; John (b. 1784) James (b. 1785, married Hannah Fulshire on 30 May 1810 and then Margarette in 1850); Deborah (b. 1790 and married John Jackson Fulcher 3 Jan 1813);Isaac (b. 1796 died in 1851)**my lineage** , married to Abigail Davis on 20 Dec 1820 then to Sarah Davis (her sister) on 6 Jun 1823)
