Edmond, "Eddie" Henry, Sr. age 69 of Leander, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2013. He was born in Travis Peak, Texas on September 9, 1943, the son of Raymond Henry and Iva Louise Jackson. He was a printer throughout most of his life. He was also a rancher for 13 years and had a wholesale import business. In later years he helped his sister on her ranch.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 28 years Carol Henry of Leander, Texas, son and wife Casey and Dawn Henry of Missouri, son Clint Henry of Austin, Texas, daughter and husband Heather and Collin Owens of Lago, Vista, Texas, two sisters Lenora McCray of Liberty Hill, Texas and Minnie Sherman of Cedar Park, Texas, brother and wife George and Jane Henry of Liberty Hill, Texas, 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and pets Candy and Blacky. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ramona Herrin.

The family would like to thank Dr. Beaty and staff at Scott & White Round Rock, Texas and Dr. Sheinbein and staff at Texas Oncology at Round Rock, Texas and personnel at the Sagebrook Nursing Center for their comfort and care.

Everyone's life was made richer by knowing Eddie. He loved talking to people and he will be missed by so many.

Graveside services will be at Smithwick Cemetery. Interment will be at Smithwick Cemetery.
