Mary Nell McDonough, 86, Brazil, Indiana, died at 1 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born March 15, 1925, in Praireton, Indiana, as the daughter of Carl C. and Lula Mae Danberry Reeves.
She married Charles P. McDonough January 20, 1948.
She was a member of Regular Predestined Otter Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles McDonough, brothers Herschel Hubert Reeves, Willard, Dale and Forest Reeves, sisters Carol Reeves (in infancy) and Lelia E. Wylie.
She is survived by her daughters Carletta Kelly and Paula Whitman, sister Janet R. Pierce, brother Marvin C. Reeves, grandchildren Clint Kelly, Clay Whitman and Lacey Kelly, stepchildren Richard "Dick" McDonough and Patsy Young, long-time friend Karen Cunningham and other extended family.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
