Mrs. Sterling was a homemaker. Born in Glen Burnie, Md., she moved to Central Florida in 1967. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was a member of Eau Gallie Yacht Club and Annapolis Yacht Club. She was also a member of Society of Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution and Huguenot Society.
Survivors: son, H. Garey Linthicum, Annapolis, Md.; one granddaughter; one great-grandson. Brownlie & Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne.
