Jesse was the son of Jesse Jackson and Nancy Miranda Monk Moon. He married Mary Lee West on Apr 5, 1903 in Wilson Co. Texas. To this union issue was born.

Does anyone have or understand the history of why he used the Culley surname between 1894 and 1917?

August, 1896, he began preaching as he could in connection with other work. September, 1908, he began devoting all his time to the work, and has been the means of establishing fifteen congregations and assisting many congregation that were not as active as they should be. He is ever about the Master' business. A goodly number have been baptized by him. Gospel preacher listed in Gospel Preachers Who Blazed the Trail by C.R. Nichol, 1911, p. 45.
