Funeral services for Mary Reddell, 83, of Seminole will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Marion officiating, assisted by Rev. Ned Nugent. Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Mary passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, in Seminole. Mary was born March 21, 1930, in Haskell County, Texas, to Lonzo and Bertie Poe. Mary and Leo Reddell were married Sept. 2, 1950, in Munday, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a homemaker, and was a gin secretary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary delivered Meals on Wheels, started Gaines County Cotton Promotion Club in 1975, and was a member of the Seminole Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Mary is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Leo Reddell of Seminole; three sons, Greg Reddell and his wife Vida of Abilene, Lonnie Reddell and his wife Linda of Milesand, David Reddell and his wife Erin of Odessa; three daughters, Linda Blum and her husband Dennis of Snyder, Mona Schultz and her husband Chris of Plano, Christy Garner and her husband Charles of Seminole; two sisters, Edith Broach and Betty Poe both of Knox City; and 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Dennis S. Blum, Kyle Blum, Aaron Reddell, Cade Reddell, Zachary Schultz, Caleb Schultz, Jordan Schultz, Charlie Garner and Quinten Garner.
