Born early (?) 1790s; possibly died after the 1834 land office deal and before 1840 census.

Samuel Harden, 'The Pioneer,' 1895; ...'Isaac and Elizabeth (Hoppis) Alshire. They are both deceased and buried at the Tucker cemetery.'

Marriage: "Isaac Aleshire and Elizabeth Hoppas. State of Ohio, Gallia County. This may certify that I, Peter Aleshire, minister of the Gospel, have joined together in marriage, Isaac Aleshire and Elizabeth Hoppas on the 4th day of January 1816, by the authority of a License obtained of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, for Gallia county aforesaid. Given under my hand this third day of May 1816. Peter Aleshire."
