Johanna Pye passed this life at the age of 84 in Wagoner while surrounded by the loving comfort of her husband Ocie and family. She was born in Teague, Texas on March 11, 1929 to Melvin H. Bain and Rubye Hoffman. Johanna married Ocie Pye on February 24, 1950 in Texas and together they celebrated sixty three wonderful years. Johanna moved from Odesa, Texas to the Wagoner area in 2008. She has been a member of the First Christian Church for many years, and earlier in life she enjoyed spending time square dancing with the love of her life Ocie, and camping with family and friends. Other interests that were an important part of Johanna's life were sewing, painting art and most of all loving her family. Johanna was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Rubye, and two sisters; Nylene Ward and Peggy Wood. She is survived by her Husband Ocie and two daughters; Brenda Malone and husband Ron of Roswell, New Mexico, Penny Kumrow and husband Steve of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Two brothers; Melvin H. Bain Jr. of Gonzales, Texas, Harold Bain and wife Dot of Center, Texas, one sister; Mary Elizabeth Wendland of New Braunfels, Texas, four grandchildren; Aaron, Andrew, Stephanie and Craig, and one great grandchild Levi.
