Laura DeFoyette, Fredericksburg, Va. - Laura DeFayette, 85, died Tuesday, June 2. 1987, at her daughter's home in Fredericksburg, Va. She was born Dec. 3, 1901, in Churubusco, the daughter of Wilfred and Corrine (Trembley) LeClair. Her husband, Arthur C. DeFayette of Point au Roche, died June 21,1986. Survivors include one daughter , Bernice Eskam of Fredericksburg, Va.; three sisters, Beatrice Otis of Tupper Lake, Agnes Durkee of Plattsburgh, and Eva Williams of Albany; two brothers, Peter and Amos LeClair of Churubusco; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
