The parents of our William are not known. There was another William H. H. Heater - living in Indiana - with whom our William has sometimes been confused. That William H.H. Heater appears in the 1850 census of Kosciusko Co., IN - Franklin Twp. He was listed as age 11 born OH in the household of Simon Heater age 30 born OH and Eliz'th Heater age 33 born PA. There is a Findagrave memorial #106050496 for William H. H. Heeter born 1837 and died 1876, buried in Nichols Cemetery in Franklin Twp., Koscuisko Co., IN. It is presumed William H. H. Heeter is the same person as William H. H. Heater who was listed in the 1850 census of Kosciusko Co. and was not our William H. H. Heater of Macon Co., MO (1840-1909).
