MR. EVITT DIES
Mr. M. A. Evitt, pioneer of Lubbock, county died last Monday morning at his home here after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Evitt, who was 74 years old, is survived by his wife and eight children, Mrs. Geneva Boyd, of Idalou; Albert C. Evitt, of Melrose, New Mexico; A. M. Evitt, of Idalou; Lucas Evitt, of Idalou; Easton Evitt, of Garrard, Texas; Mrs. Offie Eubanks, of Idalou; Charley Evitt, and Urny Evitt of Hereford.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Idalou Church of Christ with Elder Charlie Watkins officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Idalou cemetery.
