Delores J. Lutjemeier, 87, passed away August 13, 2013. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St. KCKS. The graveside service will be Friday, August 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Hospice, 7735 Washington Ave. KCKS 66112.
Delores was born to John and Kate Wilson in Marysville, KS. She was raised in Marysville where she married Marvin Lutjemeier on June 26, 1947. Marvin and Delores moved to Kansas City where they spent their lives together. Delores was a member of Stony Point Christian Church in Kansas City, KS. She spent her time selling products as an Avon representative.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Evelyn Jenkins of Wymore, NE; daughters, Carol Janes-Baker and Bonnie Lawrence; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 9 great-grandchildren.
