Adolphus is survived by his children: Mia (Douglas) Boatwright and Adam Banks; grandchildren: Germyni and India; two great-grandchildren; life partner: Sheri Krajewski.
Adolphus will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and life-long friend: Ray Gaston. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers: Lawrence and John Mitchell.
Aldolphus was an avid sports follower and a die-hard Cubs fan. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Jazz and Blues.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 17, 2013 at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360. Visitation will take place on Saturday August 17, 2013 at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until time of service.
