The daughter of Harry Leo and Margaret (Williams) Martz.
On September 15, 1963, she married Billy Max Clark. He survives of the home.
Susie was a 1963 graduate of South Harrison R-II High School. While in high school, Susie worked at the Duke's Drug Store. She baby sat for many children in the neighborhood and later did babysitting in her home. In 1975, she started working at the Lambert's Cap Factory. In 1981, she began working for the Place's Warehouse, which became Pamida, and worked there for over 20 years until they closed the warehouse.
Susie helped start the Family and Friends Council for the Bethany nursing home. She enjoyed bowling and loved going to auctions. One of her favorites was going to the casino with her mother and the Crestview group. She loved spending time with her grandchildren taking them swimming, going to their ballgames and activities and eating with them at McDonald's. She always had a good time with her brother, Bill, especially dancing with him at Lucy's, later known as Jimmy John's. Susie enjoyed weekend trips with her girls. The thing Susie enjoyed the most was the Bethany fair. She attended it from childhood and always looked forward to the fair every year.
Susie was a member and baptized in the New Hampton Christian Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband are daughters, Elshana (Randy) Mann, and Latrenda (Mark) Snider; son, Bill (Christy) Clark; brother, Bill Martz; father-in-law, Max Clark; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Vicki Sue Martz and mother-in-law, Fern Clark
