CORPUS CHRISTI - Juan Cavazos Licon Sr., 76, of Corpus Christi, died Friday, May 12, 2006.
He was born Sept. 23, 1929, in McFadden, to the late Anastacio Sr. and Antonia Licon. He was a self-employed roofer for 40 years.
Survivors: wife, Josefa Licon; daughter, Maria Alicia Trevino of Corpus Christi; sons, Alfredo Licon of Victoria, Antonio Licon of Corpus Christi, and David Licon of Brownsville; sisters, Josephine L. Reyes, Julia L. Soto, Lucia Licon, and Magadlina Zuniga; brother, Anastacio Licon Jr.; 35 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: daughter, Estella Licon; and son, Juan Licon Jr.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Memory Gardens Funeral Home chapel.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the chapel.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, 361-265-9221.
