Bobby Joe Bingham, 88, of Terrell, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Aug. 12, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born in Keatchie, LA on Nov. 3, 1924 to James and Bertha (Neal) Bingham. After serving honorably in the US Army, Bobby worked for Terrell State Hospital for over 39 years and retired in Feb., 1986 and was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge since 1981.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Ables Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Wednesday, Aug 14, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
