Newman L. Bench was born in Celeste, TX. May 7, 1924 and passed away on August 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Bench. He is survived by his son Chester Bench and his wife Susan and daughter Clarice Segala and her husband, John; and grandchildren Tim Bench, Marco and Anna Segala and his brothers Roy and Gordon Bench and numerous nieces and nephews and church family. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, 8/14/2013 at Williams funeral home, and Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Thursday, 8/15/2013 at Centerville Road Church of Christ, Garland with interment at 1 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, TX.
