Randy Curtis Ashley, 60, was a son of Curtis and Doris Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are three daughters, Carrie (Tim) Young, Tara (Frank Santoro) Ashley and Sarah (Tony Vaughn) Ashley; one stepson, Brad (Elisha) Farmer; grandchildren, Ashley (Josh Hicks) Schlickman, Charles Schlickman and Ethan Farmer; great-grandchild, Kasen Hicks; one brother, Gary (Linda) Ashley and a sister, Julie (Kent) Saunders.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Melvin-Sibley High School and later from Nashville Auto Diesel College. He worked many years as a mechanic, farmer and truck driver.
