Pauline Beatrice Blaser, 73, of Adams, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
Pauline was born Dec. 5, 1926, in New Haven, Iowa, the daughter of Perry and Mary (Elgas) Elliott. She grew up in the Stacyville, Iowa, area and attended the Visitation Catholic School. She was married to Norbert R. Blaser on Sept. 16, 1947, at Sacred heart Church in Adams.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed quilt making and making rosaries for the missions.
She is survived by her husband Norbert R. Blaser, Adams, daughters and sons-in-law: Donna (Bill) May, Clarks Grove, Karen (John) Rich, Apple Valley, Debra (Tom) Shane, Zumbrota, Pamela (Michael) Nagele, LeRoy, Bonnie (Craig) Lunde, Red Wing, Jeanine Blaser, Adams, Beverly (Mark) Beaver, Elkton; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Orian Brown, Genoa, Wis., Doris (Ellis) Douty, Adams, Myrna (Fred) Bissen, Stacyville, Iowa, Carol (John) Vogel, Adams, Isabel Mullenback, Johnsburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean (Virginia) Elliot, John (Thresa) Elliot, Altura; nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by and infant son, David Allen, infant daughter, Mary, her parents, and infant brother, sister Alice and a nephew.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.
Interment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams
Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. During the visitation, there will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service.
