She was a native of Screven County and a resident of Homestead, Fla., since 1959. She moved back to Sylvania two years ago. She was owner of Southwestern Security in Homestead and a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Herman Adamson III and Jane A. Adamson of Sylvania; two sisters, Jewel H. Scott of Sylvania and Eloise H. Cail of Fortson; two brothers, Joseph A. Hughes of Port Wentworth and Thomas B. Hughes of Millen; two grandchildren, Eric Lee Adamson of Miami and Kristen Skinner of Sylvania; and a brother-in-law, Gordon Taylor of Detroit.
