Mrs. Ada Marinda Slone, 90, of Eldon, died Monday at her home. Mrs. Slone was born June 2, 1881, at Dixon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Irvin. On July 17, 1902 she was married to Rector Slone. He survives.

Mrs. Slone was a member of the Church of Christ, and had lived in Eldon since 1958.

Other survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. Mable Blankenship, Mrs. Eva Marshall and Miss Marjorie Slone; and one son, William E. Slone, all of Eldon; four brothers, Archie Irvin, Everett Irvin, Thomas Irvin, all of Dixon, and Frank Irvin of Eldon; three sisters, Mrs. LeDora Jones, Iberia, Mrs. Lucy Hensley, Odessa, and Mrs. Grace Richmond, Dixon; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Phillips Funeral Home chapel, Eldon, with Brother James Baysinger officiating. Burial will be at Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
