Josephine Helen Foley (Jo Foley) September 26, 1928 - August 9, 2013 Josephine Helen Foley (Jo Foley), 84, of Stockton, California, passed away at home on August 9, 2013, surrounded by her family. Jo was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 26, 1928. She moved with her family to Bakersfield in 1940 then settled in Stockton where she remained for more than 50 years. Jo enjoyed music and family. In fact, she is the sister of county music legend, Bill Woods of Bakersfield. Jo's greatest joy in her last dozen years was sharing her life with her grandson, Tory. Jo is survived by her children Debra Wing (husband Terry), Kelly Foley, Kasey Foley (husband Rich), step daughters, Jill and Jeri Foley; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jo was preceded in death by husband of 40 years, Bill Foley; parents, Luther and Odessa Woods; brother, Bill Woods; and sister, Bonnie Souza. Visitation will be 8:30-9:30 am on Aug 17, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA with the graveside service following at 10:00 am.
