Karl Frederick Schwartz, well known resident of our city for many years, succumbed to old age and invalidism at his home here last Sunday, June 19th.
Decedent was born in Germany on January 12, 1845, and came to this country with his parents. The family settled in Maple Grove, where in 1877 he was united in marriage to Miss Henrietta Brandt.
He is survived by the sorrowing widow, two sons and one daughter. The sons are Richard and Adolph, the former living on a farm near this city. Miss Johanna Schwartz a daughter is accountant in the office of the Wisconsin Public Service Corp, in this city. There are four sisters, Mrs. Emile Rudolph, Mrs. Fredericka Ja???, Mrs. Alice Freitag and Mrs. Hermine Graun.
The funeral took place on Wednesday services being in the Evangelical Church in this city, Rev. Schlueter of Reedsville officiating. Interment was in the village cemetery.
