Rites Sunday For Mrs Bethel Brink

Dr Charles S. Poling, Presbyterian minister, conducted funeral services at the Wickenburg Chapel Sunday afternoon for Mrs Bethel Brink who died in Community Hospital the afternoon of March 10 following an illness of two months. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mrs Brink was born October 7, 1897, in Pontiac, Mich. She came to Wickenburg October 30, 1954. She was a licensed practical nurse and was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and was serving as that organization's secretary at the time of her death. Her husband, Stewart Brink, has been the accountant for Community Hospital since December 1954.

Surviving are three children: Mrs Albin E. Anderson of Reed City, Mich., Elverton J. Brink of Leavenworth, Kan., and Robert T. Brink of Wickenburg. One son, Leonard, was killed in action during World War II and is buried in France. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs Ruth Hensley of Harrisonburg, Va., and Mrs Esther Preston of Rogers, Ark., and 13 grandchildren.
