One of Frank's daughters wrote the following; "Clarence Eaton, whom everyone called Cad, was a jolly plump person, bald headed, quite a favorite of ours. He loved to tease us and play jokes. They had a general store and it was a treat to visit them, for everything was so clean and orderly, and the candy and jewelry case fascinated us. I recall that Uncle gave us each a ring. What a nuisance we must have been. Aunt Tressie was a good housekeeper as well as helper in the store. Thei home was a block away".
