Retired South Central Bell foreman William A. Steiner of Theodore, died Tuesday at the age of 79. Steiner worked for South Central Bell for 38 years. He worked in the PBX department. Steiner was an elder priest in the Church of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints in Bayou La Batre. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Steiner of Theodore; one daughter, Louis Nettles, of Theodore; two sisters, Miss. Vida Steiner and Mrs. Gladys Gray, both of Theodore; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at Radney Funeral Home Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
