Roger F. Ruhland, 88, of New Prague passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013 at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.
Wake will be held Sunday August 11, from 4-8 p.m. and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, Union Hill, with burial in the church cemetery.
Roger was born in Derrynane Township, Le Sueur County on September 1, 1924 to Math J. and Albina A. (nee Svoboda) Ruhland. He attended Union Hill school and was a lifelong farmer in Derrynane Township.
Roger enjoyed old time music and was a collector of old tractors, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
