Mr. Francis Ford Barber, of Hollywood, died suddenly at his home Monday, Aug. 23. He was 65 years old at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dorothy; 10 sons, Francis Jr. Joseph W., G. Eugene, James Gilbert, Charles
Wilmer, Joseph A., Francis I., John I., James R. and Ralph X. Barber; three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Williams, Mrs. Mary Dorothy Thompson and Miss Cora Mae Barber. He was the brother of Mrs. Jeanette Curtis, Mrs. Alberta Mitchell, Mrs. Berline Thorne, Mrs. Cora Stevens, Mrs. Dorothy Harper and Mr. Walter Barber. There
are also 30 grandchildren who survive.
Prayers were said at Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m.
A funeral mass was said Thursday, Aug. 26 at St. John’s Church, Hollywood. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mr. Barber were Leo Scriber, Edward Scriber Jr., Randolph Scriber, Garfield Scriber, Philip Scriber and Ronald Thomas.
