Mr. Brown, a native of French Camp was born in Indianola, Mississippi on January, 9, 1925. He was the son of Thomas Oscar Brown, Sr. and Kate Ward Brown. He served aboard the U.S.S. Hornet during World War II. He met Virginia Faye Love of Columbus and they were married March 5, 1945. He worked at Herrin-Gear Chevrolet in Jackson as truck sales manager for many years. He was a long time member of Alta Woods Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi where he faithfully served as a Ruling Elder.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Sarah Lott, Peggy Ivey, and Doris Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years; daughters, Susans Royals of Ridgeland, and Rebecca Cochran (Bob) of Ridgeland; and grandchildren, Suzanne Love Childress (Justin) of Oxford; Lauren Love Compton (Seth) of Brandon, and Edward Roberdeau Cochran III (Annalissa) of Madison.
