Mathew J. Mignogna, 85, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Aug. 8, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Kirtland.
Born Sept. 22, 1927, in Cleveland, he was a World War II Army veteran and enjoyed golf, bowling, racquetball, and mall walking.
Mr. Mignogna worked as a machinist at Cleveland Trencher and was also the owner of Ro-Ann's Deli in Wickliffe.
Survivors are his daughters: Kathy (Jim) Vinci and Mary Jo (Randy) Balmert; his son, Michael (Edie) Mignogna; grandchildren, Shane, Jeni, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brian, and Carly; and his longtime companion, Nancy Byrne.
Mathew was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes (nee Sivillo); granddaughter, Jill; parents, Joseph and Josephine Mignogna; and brothers, Daniel and Michel Mignogna.
Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
