De ARNOLD BROWN DIES YESTERDAY
De Arnold Brown, 80, a native of Orland, died yesterday in his home in Santa Cruz, where he had lived for one year. He was born in Orland on September 30, 1879.
Mr. Brown had been a resident of Sacramento for 18 years before moving to Santa Cruz. Funeral services will be held in the Sweet chapel here at 11 a. m. Wednesday. The rites will be under the direction of the Orland Masonic Lodge, and burial will be in the Masonic cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie; a son, David A. Chico; five sisters Mrs. Mabel O'Hair, Stockton; Mrs. Davis [Davie] Krause, Stockton; Mrs. Irma Richards and Mrs. Opal Deere [Beere], both of Tulare; Mrs. Zosie Carrol, Nevada City and three grandchildren.
