Irene M. Danz, age 91 of Black Earth, WI died on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at her son's, Neil, home surrounded by her family.
She was born October 6, 1921 in Middleton Township, WI to Edward and Marie (Fisher) Denner. Irene was united in marriage to Albert Danz on November 14, 1939. Al preceded her in death March 15, 2003. She was the head cook for 20 plus years at the Black Earth Elementary School.
She was a member of New Heights Lutheran Church in Black Earth and of its WELCA.

Larry (Mary Connors) Danz
Arden (Cindy Miller) Danz both of Black Earth,
Neil (Sharon Johnson) Danz of Middleton,
21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren,
a sister: Orma Mae Herfel of Verona,
three sisters-in-law: Arlene (Roger) Disrud of Mt. Horeb,
Annetta Danz of Delavan,
Helen Danz of Dubuque, Iowa,
other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Al she was preceded in death by a son: Stanley Danz, great grandson: Caden Danz, sister: Gladys Anderson and her brother: John Denner.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2013 at New Heights Lutheran Church, 1705 Center St., Black Earth, WI with Rev. Rick Lund officiating. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Black Earth, WI. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the ELLESTAD CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME, 1710 Center St., Black Earth, WI. In lieu of flowers and plants, donations to New Heights Lutheran Church or Agrace HospiceCare.
