Hannah Amelia Gale Fotheringham, 86, passed away December 28, 2000 at Mtn. View Home in LaVerkin.

She was born November 9, 1914 in Beaver, Utah a daughter of Michael Hala and Martha Adeline Cope Cale. She married Arnold Jack Fotheringham January 1, 1945 in Pioche, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple February 27, 1952. Hannah was reared and educated in Beaver. She helped raise her nieces and nephews. She graduated from Utah State Agriculture College in Logan. She taught in Panguitch and Minesville, and was supervisor for Farmers Administration during the depression. She taught in Encino CA and later taught in Hurricane. Hannah was am active member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. Hannah liked to fish, quilt, sewing, gardening and was a hard worker She will be greatly missed by her family. Families are Forever.

She is survived by her husband, Jack of Springdale, one son Jack H, Fotheringham of Anchorage, AK, one daughter Reta Ann (Lynden) Wilstead of Sacramento, CA; three grand-daughters: Valeria, Janese, JoHanna, one grandson, Jack Edward Fotheringham and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 1, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Springdale LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Spilsbury & Beard Mortuary, in Hurricane and Monday morning from 10-11 a.m. prior to services at the Chapel.

Interment will be in the Springdale City Cemetery.
