He was retired from The Boeing Company and played the guitar with Johnny Hensley and The Red Hots.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice W. Bartlett of Waynesboro, his son, Jamie Bartlett and wife, Lynn of Grovetown, his daughters, Dorothy Broekaert of California, Jody Wagner of Arizona and Dawn Michelle Bartlett of Seattle, Washington; his sister, Ozell Adkins of Grovetown, his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bartlett of Tacoma, Washington and two grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
