Charles Case Field, 66, of Puyallup and son of pioneer parents, died Tuesday morning following a long illness in a Puyallup nursing home. He had lived in Puyallup all of his life and for many years he was the U.S. mail contractor.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. M.F. Porter and Mrs. Ralph Claypool of Puyallup 3 step-daughters, Mrs. M.B. Davis, Mrs. Ruth Berg of Seattle, Mrs. Arnold (Clarice) Johnson of Tacoma, & 3 step-sons, John Ross of Minneapolis, Ted Ross of McChord Base & Morris Ross of Auburn.
Private services were held Wednesday evening at the Hill Funeral Home Puyallup. The Rev. Harvey deVries officiated and cremation followed.
Pallbearers were Jack Lenfesty, Mack Stevenson, L.B. Botsford, Harvey Woodworth, L.A. Peterson & Charles Whitworth.
