Eunice Harris Ehlers died July 14, 2002. Eunice was born in Conroe on January 30, 1927. She moved with her family to Palestine, Texas in 1932 and graduated from Palestine High School in 1943. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Walter Jack Ehlers; her parents, Odelia Lang Harris and Jack Harris; brothers Manley, Morgan and Seymour Harris. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and E.J. Butler; granddaughter, Michelle Coyne of Montgomery; sisters, Florence Bolton of Conroe and Bobbie Carter of Houston; brother Andy Harris of Colorado and sister as well as numerous (and very dear) nieces, nephews and cousins. Eunice will be sorely missed by her many friends and relatives. Pallbearers include Will Carter, John Harris, Norman Black, Roger Harris, Buddy Smith and Ray Arnold. Honorary pallbearers include Morgan Harris, Walter Harris, Bradley Bolton, Edward Bolton and Manley Bolton. Funeral servics will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Henry Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
