Mildred H. Foshager 89, of Willmar died on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Rice Hospital Memorial in Willmar.

She was born on August 30,1920, in Willmar, the daughter of Fred and Seina (Noor) Mead. She grew up in central Minnesota where she attended grade school.

On February 14, 1942 Mildred was united in marriage to Lawrence Foshager. This union was blessed with a daughter. The family made their home south of Willmar where they farmed. In 1969, Lawrence retired and they moved into Willmar. Mildred began working in the kitchen for Bethesda
Heritage Retirement Home. She worked there for many years before her retirement.

Mildred was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, and canning all the fresh vegetables she grew.

She is survived be her daughter, Joyce Barber of New London;
grandsons, David (Peggy) of North Ogden, UT. and Duane (Shawna Palmquist) of New London: 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sisters-in-law Eleanor Mead,
Gladys Beck, and May Roisum. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents: Son-in-law, Richard Barber; 2 Grandsons, Butch and Rickie; and brother, Lester.

A memorial services was held at 11 am, Saturday, April 3, at
Peace Lutheran Church in New London. Interment is at Calvary Church Cemetery in Willmar.
