RICHARD J. DAVIDSON, age 64, of Alto, GA, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Davidson was born on October 26, 1942 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Joe Dennis and Florean Meeks Davidson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Chitwood. Mr. Davidson was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church and was a retired electrician with 30 years of service. Survivors include: his wife, Lillian "Lucy" Davidson, Alto, GA; his daughters: Theresa Harrison, Alto, GA; Toni Wagoner, Blairsville, GA; his son: Joe Davidson, Alto, GA; his sisters: Marie Blalock, Alto, GA; Frances Haynes, Baldwin, GA; Brenda Ivie, Cornelia, GA; Peggy Hamby, Phoenix City, AL; Cheryl Poole, Carnesville, GA; his brothers: Lewis Davidson, Alto, GA; Perry Davidson, Alto, GA; Jerry Davidson, Cleveland, GA; Ricky Davidson, Alto, GA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Burial will be in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating at the graveside.
